Activities: Week of Nov. 13

Thank you to everyone that participated in the legions poppy campaigns, attended Remembrance Day ceremonies, contributed to the treats by baking or purchasing.   As an extension of Remembrance day, the senior cadets also spent some time at the grave site this weekend learning about and celebrating Michael VandenBos, the squadron’s namesake and inspiration.

The band marched in their 1st Santa Claus parade this weekend and have many events planned until the holidays.  They’ll lead the cadets as they march in the Whitby Santa Claus parade so please mark your calendars for Dec. 3.  All cadets should plan to attend!!

Congratulations to the cadets that got to experience the Power familiarization flying program this weekend.  Many thanks to the officers and pilots who give up their time on weekends to make these opportunities possible!

Saturday, Nov. 19 is road clean up and all cadets are asked to participate from 9am-11am.  Details of meeting point, and other details will be provided.   We’ll spend a couple of hours getting some fresh air and contributing to our community helping to keep it clean.
