Young Eagle Volunteers; See below

If you are planning to volunteer, please be sure to sign up for your preferred task at:  https://youngeaglesoshawa.org/volinfo.html as well as advise Sgt Pennant.

Tasks include:  certificate desk, the logbook desk and at passenger staging.  Some Sr. Cadets (familiar with aircraft and airport operations) would be appreciated to help escorting passengers.  Procedure documents will be available for each of these roles.

All cadets who have volunteered to assist are to report to the Oshawa Executive Airport, Main Terminal building located at 1200 Airport Blvd. Oshawa, L1J 8P5 by 0800hrs.

The briefing for pilots and other airside staff will take place at 9:00 a.m.  The flying will begin at 10:00 a.m. and we should be finished by 2:00 p.m.

Young Eagle Volunteers; Details

Here are the details for this Saturday, June 17, for Young Eagles at Oshawa Airport:

All Cadets who have volunteered to assist for this event are to report to the Oshawa Executive Airport Main Terminal building located at 1200 Airport Blvd Oshawa L1J 8P5 by 0800 hrs.

Cadets are asked to report to the Volunteer Check-in Station located at the Terminal Bldg.  There will be a mandatory briefing and cadets will be assigned duties for the day.

The event is scheduled to be completed by1400 hrs weather permitting.

Lunch will be provided. Dress is summer dress uniform. Bring sun block and water bottles as this will be an outdoor activity.

We have a fun evening planned that includes raffles, draws, award and other presentations, kit shop items for sale, a silent auction and dinner.  Thank you to everyone who has donated to our raffle table.

We are still accepting donations, simply contact us or bring it at Enterprise Airlines Hangar Saturday morning.

We can’t wait to see everyone as we celebrate the close of another great year!

Young Eagles; Volunteer Sign Up

This year’s Young Eagles Rally will take place on Saturday June 17 (rain date June 18).

There are already have 225 passengers pre-registered to fly!  Registration is closed right now but it will re-open once there is a confirmation of how many airplanes and pilots available.

New time: Travel Details for Band & Drill Comps

Notice of change:  Band and Drill Teams are to meet at the Hangar at 8:45am for a practice prior to Saturday departure.  Dress for the weather.  Bring everything you need for the day as you will leave from here.  Remember your health cards and all kit requirements. 

Band, a reminder no dairy products the day of competition.  Clear airways are needed for the best sound.

Hi everyone,  Time is getting close and you’re hard work will see it’s results!  Here are the details for Saturday, April 22nd’s competition:

Health Card:  All Cadets must have Health Card in Hand to board the bus.

Dress:  Travel in appropriate civilian clothing, uniform packed with care. 30 min are provided to change upon arrival.  We will return in uniform.

Hangar Departure:  Please be at the Hangar for 1100 the bus will depart at 1115.

A box lunch is provided on route to Kingston approx. 1300

Planned arrival in Kingston at 1415

  • Inspection:   1530
  • Band:  1600
  • Drill Team:  1720

Cadets will have dinner at the base mess prior to departure home.

Hangar Arrival:  Currently anticipating after 2100 at the earliest.  We will update all on the Remind app with our arrival home times.

Location:  We will be at the CONSTANTINE ARENA, 7 Navy Way, Kingston ON K7K 7B4 from 1415 until 1820 this Saturday.

Guests:  While spectators are welcome, meals are not provided to guests.

Rifle Team – Competition Details

Zone 16 Shoot:  Sunday, April 9. RCSCC Harwood LHQ, 48 Exeter Rd., Ajax.

Cadets are expected to arrive for 1545 for check in.  Pick up is scheduled for 1715, same day, same location.  Please remember to each breakfast and lunch, avoid stimulants like coffee or energy drinks.

Please bring with you:

  • Health card
  • water
  • granolar bar (or other healthy snack)
  • range glasses
  • shooting jacket
  • shooting gloves
  • watches or other personal timing devices
  • Note:  Cell phones are not permitted on range!

Parents are welcome to come as visitors to support their cadets.

Vimy Ridge Concert Details

Participating Cadets:  Please plan to be at the Hebron Christian Reformed Church from 6pm-10pm in full uniform.  Thank you for giving your time to this important event.
