Marching Band

DSC07385 The Band consists of experienced and new members all coming together to support the squadron and the community.  All cadets interested in participating are welcome.  The band opens and closes each of the parade nights, performs at various parades and other community events.  Summer camps at various levels may also be available to band members.  In April, 2016 the Band participated in the regional competition and successfully qualified with a 2nd place finish for provincials.  They are currently preparing for the 2017 competition.

Message from the CO:   With your approaching competitions this coming Saturday 22 April, I would like to wish you great success. You have all trained hard for a long time now and you have your chance to shine Saturday.

Speaking of shining, I realise it would be near impossible to parade in uniform Friday night and prepare your uniforms for Saturday so for this Friday Band and Drill Team Members are excused from wearing their uniforms and can instead you can wear your squadron t-shirt or black pants with a white shirt.

Good luck!

Major Garry Burns, Commanding Officer
